A Disclaimer

I thought it might be informative to use this Monday's post to share a few truths about us and therefore, about the blog. You might find it helpful as you continue on this journey with us:
  1. We are sisters
  2. We are Christians
  3. We grew up in the same house, with the same set of parents
  4. Neither item (1), (2), or (3) automatically mean that we agree about everything, in fact
  5. We each have very strong opinions
  6. Sometimes our opinions differ!
  7. Just because we share the same blood, and serve the same God, we may have different methods and views regarding these (and other) subjects
  8. Our blog talks about our similarities (in family, faith, history, etc) but also our unique ideas and inputs
  9. Our guest bloggers, while typically being extended family members and fellow Christians, also may post content that as individuals we do not completely agree with
  10. We plead for your grace as you read our blog, remembering that we are still on this faith journey and will be continuing in the Refiner's fire for the rest of our lives.
We are very grateful for you! It is so encouraging to share part of our lives with you. May God Himself shower you with his peace on this new day.

    Did you post this disclaimer because of something I wrote, Lizzi? You don't want people to think you share the same opinion as me?

    Hahaha! Just kidding, sweet sister! Good idea to specify that even though it is our blog we may not agree with everything everyone says.

    Haha! How did you know? ;) Nope, just started thinking about the "what ifs" and thought it'd be better to post it than confuse people!
