Picnic Time!

What do you do when you are craving for a sunny picnic, but it's 38 degrees outside and raining? You play picnic inside!

Complete with baseball caps to protect your eyes from the "sun," and yummy plastic fruit to satisfy the gnarling hunger. ;)

 "Look! Even our friend, Hippo, is joining us for our picnic!"

Yep, that's right. We invite our stuffed friends and we break out the plastic ware and crackers and raisins, and everybody gets a portion. (It works out well for the boys since they get to "help" their friends eat their food.) It's fun to see their imaginations blossoming and I love to observe them playing together... Even if I sometimes have to play referee myself. They are like wriggly monkeys to try and capture pictures of, but bear with me and maybe next time I will get a few better ones. ;)

I love being a Mommy! It is definitely not an easy job, and stretches and pushes me to the limit at times, but I am grateful for that challenge. Today, my oldest was talking about Daddy being at work and he said, "And other daddies are going to work, too." It made me smile and thank God that He enables me to stay home, so my little one didn't even think about Mommy going to work.
