Wartburg Castle Part 2

I am finally getting around to putting up the rest of the pictures from my trip to Wartburg Castle in Germany in September.  (The first set of pictures can be found at Wartburg Castle Part 1.) I am not much of a photographer but there are a couple in here that I think are very nicely done (if I do say so myself!).

I love old chests and I thought this one was particularly well situated.





This is the picture I am the most impressed with.  (Except for the scaffolding, of course!)  There may be a photographer hidden somewhere inside of me yet!

Isn't this a lovely little nook?  I didn't think to take a picture as I admired it until I noticed about 15 other people doing so and thought I should join the crowd!!  Sometimes it is good to be a follower!!



Moments later I dropped the expensive digital camera that had been a present from my in-laws...  The automatic lens would no longer move...  Just my luck.  Well, at least I got these pictures taken first.
