The Gift of Giving
This year, for the
first time I learned the gift of giving. That giving presents or time can be
such a blessing. To us a lot has been given, so shouldn't we be thankful to
give what we can?
Being apart of another
family has provided me with an example of giving. When Christmas comes rolling
around like it always does, you bring out and dust off those gifts purchased in
the summer, those garage sales remembered. Looking for the perfect gift, knowing
what you really need. It truly has been a blessing.
Growing up in the
house I did, I learned to be thankful for what I got. The food was great, the
company was fun, and there was always gifts to go around. I realized Christmas
wasn't just about the stuff, it's about family, it's about God.
So this Christmas
seeason, I just wanted to say..
