Memory Monday: A crazy Christmas lover

This picture was taken about 4 years ago.  I wanted a "Christmas lights crown".  It only worked if you were by an outlet!

I am silly.

You would (will) oftentimes find me at Christmas time decked out in some unbelievable elf outfit or lights in my hair, bells in my ears, ect. I love Christmas! I love being silly and having fun.  These days you will find me dancing around the living room with my little son as I sing "Jingle bell rock". We love dancing! It is fun to see him bust out some dance moves (mainly just bobbing up and down) he is impressively on beat most of the time.  I hope I always take the time to enjoy the Christmas season and not be stressed out about it.  Take time to laugh, be silly, carol, dance, and make snow angels.  I think it becomes much too easy as we grow up to get stressed out by the very things we are to enjoy.  Keeping life in the right perspective and realizing there is not much in life that is worthy to stress over (especially decorating a Christmas tree!) So, if you need to sit down, put the gift buying off another moment, put the half decorated house/tree out of your mind, grab a cup of coffee and breath.  Remember that Christmas is much larger than decorations, gifts, and running constantly.  Christmas is much more than all of that.  Christmas is about a gift, a gift that came and changed all of history for us.  We now live with a hope, for our Savior has come and we are free from sin. That is something to celebrate not to stress about.
