Sisters chat about dream vacations

Esther:  Well, tonight I thought we would play a little game
 Maude:  fun
Esther:  a "we have all the money in the world" game
or some such thing
 Lizzi    : That's a fun idea
Esther:  basically pretend you are not limited by money, time, jobs ect.

 Maude:  Sounds good.
 Esther:  ok?
 Maude:  No problem!
 Esther:  Question 1
what is your dream vacation?
and why?
 Lizzi:  Any vacation! haha!
Ummm...
Esther:  you can stay as long as you like and have all the accommodations you can imagine
I would love to be all alone in cabin in the woods, peaceful, secluded
Maude:  I would want to spend a lot of time traveling throughout Europe - probably mostly walking (but where my luggage magically shows up at my next hotel each night - so I don't have to carry it!).  I would want to see... everything, really!  From Ireland to the Carpathian Mountains, from Finland to Croatia.  Being able to spend time in the small towns getting to know the culture in each country a little bit.
 Lizzi:  Those are both awesome!
Esther:   I would also love to travel, stay at fancy historic hotels, EAT yummy, expensive food, and drink yummy wine while watching a good show in Europe somewhere
Maude:  Visiting both well-known tourist spots (like Stonehenge) but also local destinations
Lizzi:  I think if I had all the money, time, etc in the world I would want to take vacation upon vacation! :)
I would want to spend time on the coast of Greece
 Esther:  Maude that sounds lovely
 Lizzi:  Got to Italy
 Esther:  oooh me too Liz!
Maude:  I would travel, travel, travel!
 Lizzi:  Take extended cruises
Maude:  I would like to cruise the northern European islands and across the Atlantic
 Lizzi:  Travel Alaska
Maude:  I would like to stay overnight at some castles in Europe
Lizzi:  Go to Hawaii again! Especially a smaller island
Oh! And B&B across the US!!!
Maude:  I would also like to visit Japan (mostly to visit friends) but also to sight see too
 Lizzi:  Yeah, Japan!
Maude:  B&B across the US - on a walking tour (if the US had good walking trails) or taking a NICE PRIVATE train across the US!
Esther:  So this isn't exactly a vacation but I really want to walk the Appalachian trial
Maude:  The whole thing?  In one go?
 Esther:  yep
 Maude:  Crazy girl
Esther:  probably not going to happen (in one go around that is) but... I at least want to do some of it eventually
my dream would be to do all of it at one time
Maude:  Come visit me and we'll drive Skyline Drive which is right next to the Appalachian trail - beautiful!
 Esther:  that sounds beautiful!
Question 2
what is one possession you would want to own?
an appliance?
or jewelry?
Esther:  I would love to own a kitchen aid!
Maude:  Land - a huge mountain.  Over a thousand acres in land (although if money were no object why limit it to a thousand?  Donald Trump owns million of acres!)  Just a lot of land for me!
 Esther:  AND a gas stove
 Maude:  Why gas?
Esther:  you have more control when you cook
Maude:  What is a kitchen aid?
 Esther:  an amazing mixer!
 Lizzi:  (discipline emerg)
Maude:  That depends on the stove... I've had some where the gas was fumes, spluttering, or raging
Esther:  it practically makes cake for you
Maude:  I guss you mean new gas stove
Esther:  you just put it in and it stirs and you can do a thousand other things
yeah... gas stoves has its ups and downs
Maude:  the only one's I've had have been in old apartments where you have to use a match to light the burner
Esther:  I about died of heat in our old place (we had a gas stove there and no AC) I could barely cook
in the summer
Maude:  That is hard!  But gas stoves are good experiences
What about you, Lizzi?
Trust Esther, our chef, to want kitchen appliances!  I didn't even think of the kitchen!!
 Esther:  haha
I don't know about that!
Lizzi:  Yeah, gas ovens are the best!
Esther:  I would also LOVE a fireplace
we kinda have one here but we don't own this place and it is a gas one
not real
Maude:  We have our first fireplace - yeah!
It is wood
Very excited about Christmas!
 Esther:  that is awesome Maude!
Lizzi:  We found from our house, that the gas one heated better than a real one... but maybe it's all about having a fan to blow it
Hmmm.. What would I want to buy....
Maude:  Most traditional fireplaces are only20% energy efficent
I think it is more about the atmosphere than heat in most homes today... which is kind of sad
Lizzi:  Yeah, when our power went out it did almost nothing to heat the house!
 Maude:  Stinky!
Lizzi:  Much better after we changed it to an insert with a fan
funny, huh?
Anyway... I would love to own agrand piano
so I could listen to my hubby play beautiful music on it!
 Esther:  that is sweet
Lizzi:  But they are like mucho denaro!!!
 Esther:  :)
Maude:  Very expensive.  Where did our little brother, D, get one?

I know he had no expenses - being single - but it is still a lot of money!
Lizzi:  Yeah, I don't know where he got it or for how much
Maude:  All of our husbands are musical, isn't that funny?
They all play instruments
Esther:  that is kind of fun
Lizzi:  Do you all love to hear them play as much as I love to hear mine?
Mine finally got an acoustic guitar a few weeks ago
and we are having such great family sing time
Maude:  We all love to sing together.  My husband usually plays piano, one of us plays the kazoo, one the drum and one the guitar while we sing and dance - very fun!
Esther:  I am excited for my man to come home so we can do more of that!
 Lizzi:  Yeah, it's really special
Esther:  me and little man have dance parties all the time
