When in Louisville.

If you were to come to Louisville I'd suggest a few places to try out.  For a good cup of coffee Sunergos  is the place for you.  They roast all of their own coffee beans and the result is always a smooth satisfying taste.
If you are into doughnuts then you can just walk next door to Nords bakery .  There apple fritters are basically to die for.

Lynns paradise cafe is just a fun, and oh so quirky! I feel like it "gets" the odd side of Louisville very well.  In the center of the restaurant is a fake tree filled with kites and dinosaurs so many strange things! The atmosphere you cannot beat and the food is good too!

Hillbilly tea is the place you drink out of mason jars and eat off of wood planks.  The atmosphere is also really fun here.  I loved taking my Mom here.  I don't think everyone would appreciate the decor as much as others but with the right group this would definitely be the place to go.

Louisville also has more than just food to offer (the the food list is rather extensive) but we have great parks and walking trials. I think they have done particularly well with  Water front.  It is a great place to have a picnic, walk along the paved path, let the kids play on the play sets, or just find a nice spot in the shade to sit and read.
We love the Zoo around here. We live close by and have a pass so oftentimes in the morning or evenings we will just go for an hour or so and don't feel the pressure for having to make a whole day out of it since it is so close.  What is better after a long, hot trip to the Zoo then to treat yourself to some ice cream?  Now I don't mean to be bias but I am pretty sure that Comfy Cow ice cream  is the best ice cream on earth. Do you want to challenge me? Why don't you join me on my quest of finding the best ice cream on earth.  All we have to do is travel around the world and eat the best ice cream we can find. Hard job right?

After telling you about all these places I bet you want to come to Louisville and visit me now, huh? Well, I think you should! Just hop in the car and we will start our adventures!

  1. Esther, you're too funny. As I was reading your Louisville promo I was thinking of how inviting it was sounding, seriously. And then your closing statement just made me laugh. I've been there twice and still haven't been to Water Front. Hope you're doing well. And sorry I've missed your visits to Ohio :(
